Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Sigma Kappa Zeta Chapter was chartered on September 7, 2001 in Brooklyn, NY. The chapter was chartered by eleven extraordinary women – Camille Titus, Shemeka Durant, Patricia McGlashan, Ericka Tate-Souvenir, Tara Mock, Norita Wiggins, Virna Springer, Eudora Wallace, Tanya Denny, Karen Gooden, Tanya Wiggins.

 

Over the years, Sigma Kappa Zeta has worked tirelessly to serve the Brooklyn community to a level that has elevated it to be the premier Brooklyn chapter. Since its inception, Sigma Kappa Zeta Chapter has been committed to strengthening families, children and communities through educational initiatives, peer mentoring, grassroots volunteerism, coalition building and economic empowerment, all in the support of girls and women.

The years since Sigma Kappa Zeta’s existence have been busy and prosperous. We pledge to remain diligent in our efforts to carry out the work of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
